This is my little corner of the Interwebs.
I'm Red River Métis from Canada, but live in the US now. I was born in Manitoba, my family is from Saskatchewan, I grew up in Alberta and then moved to British Columbia. As there were no more western provinces to go to, I came south. We've been enjoying the temperate climate of San Diego, California since mid 2015. I'm WAM (wicked ass mother) to an awesome teenager, WAW (wife) to the Hubs and WADM (dog mom) to two little princess dogs.
When I'm not in my home office, you can catch me beading, reading or cleaning. Some nights we're bingeing a show or having Family Movie Night with the kiddo to get him off the games. Otherwise, I might be in the kitchen or on zoom with my True North Down South pals. Occasionally in the afternoon I'm soaking up Vitamin D in the backyard. Sometimes I even get out onto the golf course, and once in a very blue moon you'll catch me hiking or exploring on the weekends.
I love lazy Saturdays because the Hubs brings me coffee in bed so I can scroll the morning away on the socials. I'm addicted to buying beads, watching people bead, learning and trying new beading techniques and making new beaded projects for friends. I do a lot of reading about Indigenous History and support issues like MMIW, Every Child Matters, TRC and learning my ancestry. My favourite moments of the day is my kisses at bedtime from my kiddo and the Hubs.
